Matthew Pearn

Matthew helps his clients resolve large-loss insurance claims, personal injury, automotive insurance, and disability insurance claims, professional negligence claims, and complex commercial disputes.

Matthew is Treasurer of the Canadian Bar Association of New Brunswick, helping to train lawyers on legal ethics and legal standards essential to practicing law. He sits on the NB Law Society’s Disciplinary Committee, ensuring licensed lawyers respect their obligations to clients.

Matthew is a member of the Canadian Defence Lawyers Association, the Canadian Media Lawyers Association (‘Ad IDEM’), and the York-Sunbury Law Society. He is a Tribunal Chair under the Mental Health Act, making legal rulings to help people diagnosed with serious mental illness. He is a member and the Rules of Court Revision Committee.
